Fire alarm annual inspections includes testing of all fire alarm devices as per CAN/ULC 536 inspection and testing requirements. Fire sprinkler systems are vital for saving lives and your belongings. This is done by having a constant water flow with adequate supply of pressure and proper dispersion throughout your building. Fire sprinkler inspections are to be taken as highest priority to keep your system in flawless operation. Inspections are done both visually and through testing. It is done in accordance with NFPA 25 and includes a full walk through of your building to visually inspect all exposed sprinkler pipe, hangers and sprinkler heads to ensure they are free of obstruction and properly installed.
Performing an alarm test through flowing water from the test valve ensures code required flow times for Wet Systems are met. For Dry Systems we conduct a full trip test on the alarm valve and also record times and water flow operation through the ITV. Each system is trimmed with several gauges to ensure all pressures are within the correct PSI and are used to monitor integrity of piping and system operation. After our complete inspection (if any) deficiencies are found and repaired, a full report and annual certificate will be issued.
Ontario Fire Code - Div. B. - 6.5.5.2.(1) One flow switch on all fire sprinkler inspection shall be tested monthly by flowing water through the test connection located at the sprinkler valve.

All gauges are inspected for accurate readings and adjustments are made on-site if required, similar to the monthly quarterly and bi-monthly we exercise all control valves and signaling equipment for water flow and confirm the correct signals are received at the fire panel.
