Fire alarm annual inspections includes testing of all fire alarm devices as per CAN/ULC 536 inspection and testing requirements. This includes and is not limited to smoke detection devices, heat detecting devices, voice communication systems, velocity readings, battery load testing and exact zones and locations of all devices within your business. After completion a certificate is issued and is valid for 1 year after last deficiency is completed.

This Inspection is just as thorough as the fire alarm annual inspection in regards to remote auxiliaries and relays, which consists of testing of elevator recall, alternate recall, make-up air shutdowns, press fan operations, door holders, mag-lock door releases. We also offer fire drills which can include comprehensive training on the basics of your fire panel and voice communication system for you and your staff.

A monthly inspection is an extension of our fire alarm annual inspection. We visually inspect and test a manual pull station in a different zone each month throughout the year along with your voice communication system. This audit is very crucial in life safety, manual pull stations are the most common device for activation in known fires.

Voice communication systems allow the fire department to communicate and update residents/building occupants of the state of emergency that is present.

Fire sprinkler systems are vital for saving lives and your belongings. This is done by having a constant water flow with adequate supply of pressure and proper dispersion throughout your building. Fire sprinkler inspections are to be taken as highest priority to keep your system in flawless operation. Inspections are done both visually and through testing. It is done in accordance with NFPA 25 and includes a full walk through of your building to visually inspect all exposed sprinkler pipe, hangers and sprinkler heads to ensure they are free of obstruction and properly installed.

Performing an alarm test through flowing water from the test valve ensures code required flow times for Wet Systems are met. For Dry Systems we conduct a full trip test on the alarm valve and also record times and water flow operation through the ITV. Each system is trimmed with several gauges to ensure all pressures are within the correct PSI and are used to monitor integrity of piping and system operation. After our complete inspection (if any) deficiencies are found and repaired, a full report and annual certificate will be issued.

 Ontario Fire Code - Div. B. - 6.5.5.2.(1) One flow switch on all fire sprinkler inspection shall be tested monthly by flowing water through the test connection located at the sprinkler valve.
This inspection includes a visual check of control valves and a water flow test. We confirm and record one supervisory zone and  one water flow alarm zone that is different each month. Sprinkler valves often seize, and sprinkler pipes create build up and blockage so flowing of water through the alarm lines monthly and exercising the valves ensures your system is functional and annunciate the correct zone in the event of emergency.  

Quarterly and bi-monthly inspections are essential for wet & dry sprinkler systems. We inspect all alarm devices on every sprinkler riser and verify that your system is free of damages. We also test the water flow through the inspectors test valves for Wet systems. Priming water on Dry systems are inspected for proper water levels above the dry pipes. All gauges are inspected for accurate readings and adjustments are made on-site if required, similar to the monthly quarterly and bi-monthly we exercise all control valves and signaling equipment for water flow and confirm the correct signals are received at the fire panel.

Our fire extinguisher annual inspections are treated with as much detail and care as all of our inspections. Our inspections include very detailed descriptions, makes and models, types, class of extinguishers, year of manufacture, year of expiry, and manufacturer instructions of use and care.

Monthly inspections of fire extinguishers is an extension of our annual inspection. We visually inspect each gauge, and confirm that pins and tags are intact and not broken. This will indicate that there has not been tamper, and free of damage and discharge.
